Bankhers was inspired after witnessing glaring gaps in support for women in the banking and financial sectors. What started as a personal project developed into a group of like-minded women dedicated to fostering connections among women in finance. We pride ourselves on creating a space for authentic support and growth.
Our approach is rooted in the desire to help women achieve meaningful relationships amongst each other, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to empowering women in the financial sector.
We believe networking shouldn’t mean sacrificing family time or personal priorities. We’re building impactful opportunities that meet members where they are — making it easier to grow connections without having to compromise.

Priscilla Martens
Founder
Priscilla has supported the uptown financial industry for over a decade as an account manager and client partner. She spends her spare time with her husband and daughters on their homestead in SC. In her spare time, she enjoys running, horseback riding and gardening.
Jeanine Qasim
Executive Sponsor
Jeanine is an executive in Commercial Banking Operations at Capital One with 25 years of experience in the financial industry. She lives in South Charlotte with her husband and 2 children. Their family loves to travel, play/watch sports and attend live theater and music performances.
Tyle Oxidine
Membership Director
Tyler works at in uptown in investment banking operations. When not at work, this Charlotte native enjoys traveling with her husband, volunteering her time at local shelters and dog rescues, and engaging in industry networking groups.
Jacqueline Hayes
Executive Mentor
Jackie has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector having established and led teams in the data management and governance space. When not working, Jackie enjoys hiking, traveling, and connecting with friends.
